2/7/12: Dad & I made Nilaga, a Filipino soup, for dinner tonight. It’s a delicious and filling meal to have on a cold night. Mom used to call it “Boiled Dinner” because you just boil the beef shanks until tender and then fill the pot up with lots of veggies. We like using potatoes, green beans, cabbage & bok choy. And then you have it with some rice in the soup. Yummy!
